About Me
Photographer, natural light enthusiast, and eternal observer of beautiful moments. Based in London, working worldwide.
My Story
My love for photography began on a rain-soaked afternoon in 2016, armed with nothing but a secondhand camera and an overwhelming curiosity. What started as a quiet hobby — photographing friends, street scenes, the way light fell through my kitchen window — quickly became an all-consuming passion.
After studying fine art at university and spending two years assisting established photographers, I launched Lens & Light Studio in 2018. I wanted to create a space where photography felt less like a transaction and more like a collaboration — where clients felt seen, heard, and genuinely relaxed.
Eight years later, I've had the privilege of photographing over 500 sessions — from intimate elopements in the Scottish Highlands to editorial spreads for independent magazines. Every single shoot teaches me something new, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Philosophy
I believe the best photographs happen when people forget the camera is there.
I work almost exclusively with natural and ambient light. It's softer, more honest, and creates a mood that artificial lighting simply can't replicate.
No stiff poses or forced smiles. I guide you gently and let genuine moments unfold naturally. The result is photography that feels authentically you.
Every image should tell a story. I look for the in-between moments, the quiet glances, and the genuine emotions that make your story unique.

Space
Based in a converted warehouse in East London, my studio is a creative space designed for comfort and inspiration. Large north-facing windows flood the space with beautiful natural light throughout the day.
It's equipped for portrait sessions, product photography, and small editorial shoots — with a selection of backdrops, props, and a comfortable client area with tea, coffee, and good music.
